Web 2 Voice: Making Twitter Sticky

  • Antman · 1 year ago
Great post! Ya ask some good questions. The thing I am starting to wonder is; will the desire, effort, motivation to Twit last? Can/Will Twitter be embedded into our daily lives for the next year, 3 years, 5 years, 10 years? I'm not sure I can see people Twitting every day or couple of days for years on end.

I like twitter, however, it is already feeling like a chore, not a necessity.

I suspect "Dang, I forgot to twit" is gonna be a common theme over time giving way to "I just don't have time to Twit"

    Great Post!

    Antman,

Thanks for the comment. I think that Twitter has a very high probability of being a fad. But, maybe even unintentionally, I think their service (using their easy API to send messages to people and groups) has a lot of power. Plurk is a little better in some areas, but they don't yet have an API. That means no other 3rd party services.

    BTW: I dig Cre8Buzz!
