I like twitter, however, it is already feeling like a chore, not a necessity.
I suspect "Dang, I forgot to twit" is gonna be a common theme over time giving way to "I just don't have time to Twit"

Thanks for the comment. I think that Twitter has a very high probability of being a fad. But, maybe even unintentionally, I think their service (using their easy API to send messages to people and groups) has a lot of power. Plurk is a little better in some areas, but they don't yet have an API. That means no other 3rd party services.
BTW: I dig Cre8Buzz!
